Job Summary
We are looking for a GP to complement our friendly team of partners and salaried GPs providing quality care to a list of nearly 15,000 patients. We have an opportunity for a GP interested in a 6‑session salaried with view to partnership in our respected, forward‑thinking training practice.
We have developed a hub model that separates out on the day from routine GP care. We aim to provide good online and face‑to‑face access for patients with urgent problems but also provide continuity for those with more complex needs.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering comprehensive healthcare to our diverse patient population. Key responsibilities include managing patients with acute and chronic conditions, offering preventive health services, conducting medication reviews, and collaborating on personalised care planning.
We are looking for a GP with excellent communication skills, strong clinical expertise, and a commitment to a patient‑centered approach.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage your own patient list based on 6 sessions per week and participate in hub triaging e‑consultations.
* Perform comprehensive clinical examinations and assessments, addressing both physiological and psychological needs.
* Develop care plans with timely referrals in accordance with practice, PCN, and local guidelines.
* Prescribe independently within your scope of practice while promoting health strategies that empower patients to adopt healthier lifestyles and embrace self‑care.
* Manage administrative tasks such as responding to queries, handling repeat prescriptions, reviewing patient test results, and preparing referral letters or correspondence in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with other health and social care providers to ensure integrated services.
* Support clinical and administrative staff to meet high standards and targets.
* Participate in hub triage sessions or extended hours as required (7:30 am‑8:00 am, 6:30‑8:30 pm during the week and on Saturdays).
Person Specification – Experience and Qualities
* Qualification and Registration
- GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
- MRCGP qualification or equivalent.
* Clinical Expertise
- Demonstrated ability to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based clinical care for acute and chronic conditions.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing appropriate care plans.
- Competence in prescribing independently within scope of practice and in adherence to national and local guidelines.
- Experience in promoting preventive care and supporting patients in self‑management.

- Understanding of the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) and its role in enhancing primary care services.

Desirable
* Postgraduate qualifications in areas such as dermatology, minor surgery, diabetes care, women’s health, mental health, palliative care.
* Teaching or mentoring qualifications for GPs involved in training registrars or medical students.
* Understanding of the needs of vulnerable patient groups.
* Experience working to achieve Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) standards.
Additional Information
* Salary: £11,500 to £12,500 per session, depending on experience.
* Contract: Permanent.
* Working pattern: Part‑time (6 sessions per week).
