Our client in Ashington is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative Apprentice to join their warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in warehousing and logistics while working towards a Level 2 apprenticeship qualification. You will learn essential warehouse operations, health & safety practices, and stock control processes through on-the-job training and formal study.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Loading and unloading deliveries safely
Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised
Using basic warehouse systems and paperwork accurately
Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Working effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines
