Vehicle Technician - Telford
1. Location: Telford
2. Salary Up to £35,000 Basic + OTE £40,000+
3. Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
4. Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)
We are working with a well-established and reputable Main Dealership in Shrewsbury, currently looking to expand their team with the addition of a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a great work-life balance with no weekend working and a supportive, flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
5. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to a high standard
6. Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
7. Work independently and as part of a team to meet workshop targets
8. Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician position:
9. Level 3 NVQ or IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) preferred
10. MOT Licence (Class 4) desirable but not essential
11. Previous experience in an independent or dealership workshop environment
12. VAG experience is highly advantageous
13. High standards of workmanship with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
14. Full UK driving licence required
