Job Opportunity: Marketing Coordinator
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to scope, plan, and deliver marketing and communications activities aimed at promoting our community-based drug and alcohol service in Somerset.

You will be based in either our Yeovil or Taunton hub, with some home working options. Reporting to the Central Marketing team, you will be part of a broader community of marketing professionals within the organization.
Role Responsibilities
* Generate referrals from specific population groups in line with needs and KPIs.
* Encourage individuals to stay in treatment or access safety information regarding drug and alcohol use.
* Identify target audiences and determine effective outreach strategies both online and offline.
* Collaborate with the service to deliver promotional activities to increase referrals.
* Create content using various tools and promote across platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
* Develop and promote routine key messages to target audiences.
* Report on marketing activities and performance metrics.
* Support community outreach events and create marketing collateral.
* Lead local awareness campaigns in collaboration with service leads and the commissioning team.
* Coordinate with local authorities, public health, and commissioners to strengthen community communication links.
* Ensure all activities align with brand guidelines and appropriate tone of voice.
* Identify concerns and propose solutions as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants should have previous experience in marketing or communications, including content creation and social media management. Sector experience is not mandatory, but understanding the needs of the supported population is advantageous.
* Hands-on skills in copywriting, asset design, and stakeholder presentation.
* Results-driven with a pragmatic approach to objectives.
* Ability to work independently with a collaborative mindset.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and creative in storytelling.
* Positive, resourceful, and action-oriented.
