The Head of Change Strategy Management and Continuous Improvement plays a pivotal role in the successful deliver of our Transformation project, Project Bridge. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a complex, high-profile programme that is redefining how we serve our customers, embedding agility into our operations, and building the digital capability needed for the future of SSE. You'll work with experienced delivery teams and senior stakeholders across our business and supply chain, managing our change methodology to ensure change lands effectively in the business. You will have overall responsibility for driving core change deliverables across release pillars. Playing a pivotal role within the Bridge Leadership Team, responsible for leading the Bridge change strategy through effective coordination and implementation to ensure the successful delivery of core change initiatives across multiple release pillars. This includes management of change, Continuous Improvement Managers and wider programme change network, responsible for change strategy from stage gates, business readiness adoption and hyper care to ensure change lands effectively.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible management of change activity across release pillars, with decision making authority at governance forums.
* Be accountable for the delivery of Change strategy, ensuring alignment across release pillars to allow benefit realisation in-line with benefits case.
* Oversee planning and resource forecasting to ensure adequate change support for release activity.
* Play a pivotal role in management of the change network community to foster strong relationships with effective stakeholder management within programme and wider business.
* Support development and execution of training and communication strategies.
* Drive a high-performance culture to support enduring change to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Proven knowledge and experience of driving and implementing Change initiatives with ability to demonstrate understanding of change disciplines.
* Strategic thinker with strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Possess excellent management and engagement skills, with the proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
* Be resilient, tenacious and committed to delivering positive results with proven ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
