As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will…
Support pupils with their learning, as well as their emotional needs.
Help students build resilience, emotional regulation, and social skills in a safe and structured environment.
Help manage challenging and anti-social behaviours by building meaningful relationship.
Gain an in-depth understanding of trauma-informed practices, attachment theory, and behaviour as a form of communication.
Collaborating with Teachers, Therapists and other support staff.This role is perfect for someone with a genuine interest in child development, mental health, and inclusive education. Whether you're a recent graduate or looking to expand your experience before further training, this position will provide a strong foundation for careers in educational psychology, therapy, SEN teaching and youth work.
