You'll need to be able to pick up new IT systems with supportive training.

Main duties of the job

* Summarise and code relevant information from patients' clinical records into the practice's computer system.
* Help ensure that every patient has a complete, accurate, and well-organised electronic medical record.

We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, and Urgent Care Services, including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.

We are seeking a Medical Records Administrator to join our team based either at Haverhill or Long Melford/Lavenham.

Unity Healthcare, run by Suffolk GP Federation, is a not-for-profit community interest company supporting primary care across Suffolk and delivering NHS services in the region.


Contract type

* Permanent part-time: 29 hours per week, working between 08:00 - 18:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 13:30 - 18:30 on Thursdays and Fridays.
