Role: Science Teacher
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver dynamic Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics in line with the national curriculum.
* Encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for Science, helping students reach their full potential.
* Adapt teaching methods to suit varying learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
* Evaluate student progress through assessments, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
* Foster a structured and engaging learning environment that promotes academic and personal development.
* Work collaboratively with fellow educators to enhance student learning experiences and share innovative teaching strategies.
* Ensure adherence to school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour expectations.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECT status, or a recognised overseas teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
* Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and contribution to the school community.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
