Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
A full-time Behavior Specialist position is available, requiring 37.5 hours per week, with an ASAP start through the end of the 2020-2021 school year. This role is based onsite and involves itinerant responsibilities, traveling between multiple school locations to provide support for students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, as well as young adults aged 18 to 21.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver behavior support services to students across various school sites.
* Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans.
* Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary to meet individual needs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to student behavior and intervention outcomes.
* Adhere to all applicable regulations and school policies during service delivery.
Qualifications:
* Valid licensure as a Behavior Specialist.
* Experience working with a diverse student population across multiple grade levels, including PreK-12 and young adults.
* Strong knowledge of behavior assessment techniques and intervention strategies.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability and willingness to travel between school sites during the workweek.
* Commitment to working fully onsite.
