Key Responsibilities:
This is an all-round Accounts role covering – Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and other Finance tasks, including but not limited to:
Process supplier invoices and receipts accurately and efficiently
Prepare and run weekly payment runs
Issue remittance advices
Set up new suppliers, customers and delivery addresses
Chasing payments
Request and manage credit limits
Send weekly customer statements
Maintain accounts receivable reports
Reconcile expenses
Produce reports
Perform daily bank reconciliations
Run weekly inventory and stock reports
Support VAT management and reporting
Assist with budgets and forecasting
Support audits and provide accurate financial information
Support office administration
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
Strong IT skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communicator with a proactive, can do attitude
