Role & Responsibilities
1. Leading the heritage consultancy offer across the North region
2. Developing strategic direction for regional heritage services
3. Providing high-level advice to clients on managing change in the historic environment
4. Inspiring and guiding internal teams, clients and external consultants
5. Driving new business opportunities and promoting the practice’s heritage capabilities
6. Ensuring delivery of high-quality consultancy outputs across projects.
Required Skills & Experience
7. Proven experience as a Senior Heritage Consultant or similar role
8. Strong knowledge of heritage legislation, planning and conservation principles
9. Track record of leading and delivering heritage consultancy projects
10. Ability to influence, inspire and communicate confidently with clients and colleagues
11. Experience managing teams and developing business opportunities
12. Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g. IHBC) desirable.
