About the Department
Ambulatory care provides same-day medical care for patients referred from their GP or streamlined from the emergency department, with the aim of discharging patients on the same day. The department offers diagnostic investigations and treatment for various medical conditions.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker/Clerical to support our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide confidential, accurate, and efficient administrative support to the Ambulatory Emergency Care team.
* Answer phones, take accurate messages, and communicate effectively with the team.
* Carry out, with appropriate training, tasks such as phlebotomy and dressings.
