Designate Senior Sous Chef | Birmingham West | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

What You’ll Do:

* Create a caring and listening environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role modeling a coaching culture.
* Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skill development.
* Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
* Build a strong team through recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
* Be a proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

What We Look For:

* Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team.
* Proven track record in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
* Financial acumen regarding kitchen performance, including GP and stock management.
* Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
* Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
* Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
