Job Description
* Manage the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and client accounts.
* Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and proactively follow up.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
* Prepare and distribute regular financial and credit reports to management.
* Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
* Recommend strategies to minimise credit risk while maintaining positive client relationships.
* Support the accounting and finance team with additional administrative duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Experience in credit control or a related field within accounting and finance.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
