Health & Safety Manager
Location: Livingston
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE
The Role
* Managing and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
* Preparing for and supporting internal and external audits
* Providing practical HSE advice and guidance across the business
* Promoting a positive health & safety culture and driving employee engagement
* Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions
* Reviewing and updating company policies, procedures, and risk management systems
* Conducting regular site inspections and compliance checks
* Delivering health & safety training and toolbox talks
* Leading HSE meetings, initiatives, and improvement projects
* Maintaining accurate safety records and documentation
About You
* Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager or Senior HSE role
* Strong knowledge of current health & safety legislation and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Good IT and administration skills, including Microsoft Office
Qualifications & Experience
* NEBOSH General Certificate and/or IOSH qualification
* Experience within engineering, construction, M&E, industrial or commercial sectors preferred
* Knowledge of ISO management systems advantageous
