Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and your attention to detail will be vital in helping us deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
* Help with the preparation and serving of meals according to care plans.
* Monitor and record changes in clients' health and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and assist in the development of care plans.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a healthcare essential.
* Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients as needed.
* Familiarity with care home environments and home care practices is beneficial.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes are necessary.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
