Location: Hybrid, remote and office-based (three days per week or equivalent for part time). Base at either South Eastern Regional Office at Lift Greensward (Hockley) or North Eastern Regional Office at Lift New Rickstones (Witham), with travel to schools as needed.
Role Overview
We're looking for a confident, proactive HR Advisor to join our East regional team. You'll play a key role in supporting our schools by offering clear, expert guidance and building strong, trusted relationships with leaders and colleagues.
What you'll do
1. Offer proactive, customer-focused HR advice across our East region
2. Lead on HR casework, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters
3. Build supportive relationships with school leaders and staff
4. Provide clear, practical advice on employment legislation, best practice and our policies
5. Analyse HR data and contribute to reports for leaders and the regional team
6. Support continuous improvement by helping to shape our HR processes and systems

Candidate Requirements
1. Proven experience as an HR Advisor, ideally in the public/education sector
2. A CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience
3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
4. A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently

Salary: £37,938-£40,476, dependent on experience, plus benefits.
