Job Description
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager the key duties for the Assistant Finance Manager role are:
* Assist in the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
* Produce monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
* Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
* Assist in the development of financial strategies and plans.
* Contribute to the company's financial risk management process.
* Provide support to the Finance Manager as required.
* Participate in financial audits and work with auditors to ensure a successful audit process.
* Ad hoc duties including support with credit control
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field/ studying towards a finance qualification- not essential
* Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well within a team and lead when required.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
