This is a very exciting role that will see you rolling up your sleeves and diving head first into the fast-moving, high-volume finance team of this industry-leading company. Working as part of a close-knit team and reporting to the Head of Transactional Finance, your role will see you receiving, managing and reconciling supplier invoices, investigating and resolving discrepancies and managing the payment process in line with supplier guidelines. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of accurate supplier databases and the recording of all accounts payable transactions.
You will support the external and internal audit process, assist with adhoc reporting, and support the management team by adopting best practice and following continuous improvement guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of the accounts payable process, POs and matching, reconciliation........ and you will need to be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, a passion for numbers and finance as well as a good work ethic and strong customer service skills.
