Overview
A small, niche manufacturing business based in North Kent is now looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant to join a busy office. This role is office-based, 5 days a week, and would ideally suit someone from a small to medium-sized company background, looking to add value in this family-run group. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
* Take full control of the billings, raising invoices weekly, checking with the sales teams to ensure the information is correct
* Handle any queries from customers with regards to the invoice
* Send copy invoices when requested
* Chase customers to make sure the invoice is paid within terms
* Reconcile aged debtors
* Month end reconciliations
* Cashflow forecasting
* Assisting with the implementation of the new ERP system
Requirements
* Proven track record in billings/sales ledger
* First rate telephone manner
* Strong systems skills
* Systems implementation is a huge plus
