Business Studies Tutor:
Based within the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Business Studies Tutor to support an incredibly dedicated and intelligent KS5 student with ASD and learning difficulties. The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver Business Studies KS5 lessons for this young person who is completing their A-levels.
Business Studies tutor specifics:
Hours: 6 hours per week
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £30 per hour
About the Business Studies Tutor role:
* Provide one-to-one tuition for Business Studies
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to the student's individual needs, interests, and learning style.
* Adapt resources to suit the student
* Build a trusting relationship that encourages engagement
* Located in Kensington and Chelsea
About the Business Studies tutor tuition:
Based in Kensington and Chelsea, the student has various complex needs, requiring a supportive and tailored approach to learning.
Ideal Business Studies tutor:
* Experience working 1:1, especially with SEN or autism
* Ability to provide individualised support, assessment, and monitoring
* Ability to collaborate with parents
* Manage behaviour and provide emotional support
* Patience and adaptability in learning materials
* Foster open communication
Business Studies tutor requirements:
* Experience in SEN, tutoring, or teaching (particularly with autism)
* Good understanding of Business Studies and effective teaching methods
* QTS or equivalent qualification
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
