Job Details
* Salary: Lecturer – Level B, AUD $127,947 to $150,830 per annum + 17% superannuation
* Salary: Senior Lecturer – Level C, AUD $155,403 to $178,290 per annum + 17% superannuation
* Full time
* Location: Kensington – Sydney, Australia
* 2‑Year convertible tenure track (Senior Lecturer only)
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses with innovative teaching methods.
* Lead research programs in thermo‑mechanical engineering of energy systems, renewable energy and energy storage technologies.
* Publish high‑impact research and support funding applications.
* Collaborate with industry partners and promote sustainability.
* Maintain teaching excellence, student mentoring and institutional service.
Qualifications
* PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Manufacturing or related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in thermo‑mechanical engineering of energy systems, renewable energy, energy storage and system reliability.
* Strong publication record and ability to translate research into practice.
* Experience with online and blended teaching models.
* Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
* Compliance with UNSW health & safety policies.
