Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Rushcliffe Local Mental Health Team as a Community Support Worker. The role involves supporting clients aged 18‑65 living in the community who are experiencing severe mental方案 health problems as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence‑based interventions.
Pay and Visa Information
This post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled Worker visa; successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa, so the Trust would not be able to sponsor for such a visa. Applicants requiring a Skilled Worker visa can determine the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship against the relevant criteria at https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa.
Responsibilities

* Evidence of a good basic education and basic IT skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills and previous experience of working in a caring environment as part of a team.
* Good prioritisation skills and the ability to recognise your own limitations.
* Recent significant experience of caring for older adults with mental health needs is desirable.
* A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use (reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010).
* Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), deducted over the first 2 months. Enrolment in the DBS Update Service is encouraged, with an annual fee of £16.
