About The Role
Due to winning a new contract, we are recruiting a Senior Site Supervisor to manage an onsite cleaning team at a busy eCommerce Depot.
Please note you will need your own transport to get to this site.
Job Purpose
To supervise a team of multi-service operatives, ensuring service delivery standards and specifications are met within budget, leading to successful 'green' audits.
Major Accountabilities
1. Deliver onsite cleaning and waste duties, ensuring schedules and rotas are adhered to and standards are met.
2. Develop and maintain client relationships to meet expectations within specifications.
3. Support the Site Manager with audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion, and resolve identified issues.
4. Complete and process all paperwork accurately, providing sign-off for tasks.
5. Ensure cleaning materials and machinery are available, functional, and used safely.
6. Complete periodic cleans to specification and timescale, signing off with the customer.
7. Perform decontamination cleans as requested.
8. Support schedule delivery as needed.
9. Ensure staff are in correct uniform and dressed appropriately.
10. Complete shift handover books and confirm staff attendance.
11. Conduct return-to-work interviews with team members.
12. Manage first-stage HR issues per company policies, valuing diversity.
13. Assist in recruitment and ensure adherence to company standards.
14. Ensure correct and timely staff payments following company procedures.
15. Train and induct staff on roles, standards, values, and policies.
16. Ensure staff adhere to health, safety, and COSHH policies.
17. Attend meetings and training as required.
Other Responsibilities
1. Maintain health, safety, and welfare for self and others, reporting incidents.
2. Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection laws.
3. Follow company policies on equal opportunities.
