This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance coordinates the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling, and support services, enabling different contractors to work as a single entity for complex installations.
The role
As a Sub Contract Procurement Lead, you’ll be a key member of the MEHA Partner Procurement Team, reporting to the Procurement Lead. Your responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with MEHA procurement and nuclear safety processes, engaging with internal stakeholders
* Leading MEHA partner company subcontract procurements and liaising with the Construction team to understand upcoming requirements
* Developing and maintaining the MEHA Partner Tender Event Schedule (TES)
* Raising Subcontracts according to governance requirements to meet project and business objectives
* Identifying procurement scope gaps, proposing mitigation measures, and reporting on progress
* Supporting procurement strategies, tendering processes, and subcontract award governance
* Supporting post-award subcontract management, contract administration, and supplier performance
* Producing common Forms of Contract (NEC & bespoke Subcontracts) within the industry
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, fully remote, with occasional site travel.
Essential experience
* Extensive experience with NEC Contracts
* Previous experience in Sub Contract Procurement
