I am partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Senior ER specialist on a contract basis for 6 months.
Your new role
You will work as part of an International ER Team responsible for delivering ER support in 40+ countries and contribute towards efforts to mature and scale the International ER Team as a centre of excellence within a multi-tiered HR delivery model. You will support by ensuring all employees are treated fairly and with respect by helping the organisation navigateplex people issues in a way that is fair, consistent, andpliant.
In this role, you will
1. Provide subject matter expertise on a broad range of international ER issues, including: performance management, investigations, grievance, disciplinary, terminations, reorganisations,plex leaves of absence and sickness absence issues.
2. Respond to and investigateplaints involving employee conduct that may violatepany policies, values, and/or legal obligations. Partners with Legal and conducts investigations under their guidance when potentially unlawful conduct is involved.
3. Prepare investigation summaries which includes factual findings and conclusions.
4. Contribute towards and takes an active part in business change projects, including acquisitions/people integration, restructuring, and reorganisations.
5. Contributes to the development of ER processes, knowledge, training, and metrics.
6. Manage ER initiatives, such as training on key ER policies, policy maintenance and development
7. Build and maintain trusted relationships with their stakeholders and partners
8. Proactively assists HRBPs and Managers in reviewing, revising, rmending, and/or implementing sound ER solutions.
9. Conduct ongoing analysis of ER data to identify trends and develop insights to be shared with HR and business leaders. Leverages data to inform targeted, proactive efforts to reduce the number of ER issues in the first place.
10. Provides guidance to HR Business Partners and Business Managers on managing employment risk
What you'll need to succeed
11. Understand International ER frameworks including works councils
12. Have sound knowledge of HR policies and practices
13. Able to navigate ambiguity and develop solutions toplex problems that require ingenuity and creativity.
14. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication and presentation skills
15. Broad knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures in Europe
16. Requires solid working knowledge and understanding of Human Resources legislation / employment law, principles, policies, and procedures in multiple countries
17. Ability to manage a high volume of work.
18. Proficient with ER case management systems andfortable exporting, interpreting, and summarising data for relevant audiences ( HR leaders, business leaders, employees at large). Experience using ServiceNow or equivalent case management system a plus.
19. Having language abilities will be beneficial for this role given its worldwide reach.
