We are seeking to appoint a high performing and ambitious Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub (HWCH) Manager to develop, strategize and manage the operation of the HWCH, in our exciting new building on our Colchester campus.
The HWCH Manger will lead and manage the Hub and be responsible for the operational running of the services within it, ensuring they are meeting the vision set by the Dean of Integrated Health and Care Partnership.
The postholder will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be a confident project manager with a strong understanding of health and social care policies. They will bring experience of working with volunteers and communities and have strong communication and facilitation skills with experience in establishing new and innovative services within NHS, University, Voluntary or Private settings. A BSc/BA in clinical administration in medical science, psychology or relevant field (or equivalent in health-related subject) is an essential requirement. Overall, the successful applicant will play a crucial role in the success and smooth operation of the HWCH, ensuring it meets the standards set by the Dean and regulatory bodies, while delivering high quality and social care services to its users
Main duties of the role
The post-holder will:
- Lead and manage the HWCH, overseeing the daily operations and delivery of community-facing services, student placements, research, training and development opportunities, ensuring quality and efficiency.
-Ensure the aspirations for the HWCH are met and delivery of services is safe, robust and sustainable, through the monitoring and review of its key performance indicators.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, health and care partners, funders and commissioners.
- Advise on the design, commissioning, implementation and evaluation of innovative health programmes, projects, interventions, and initiatives to manage and improve the health and social outcomes of our service-users and build future organisational capability and reputation.
-Develop and manage the HWCH budget
- Work closely with the HWCH senior leadership team to grow the initiative and demonstrate and report on its positive impact.
- Collate as required, qualitative and quantitative information and lead appropriate analysis to develop robust business cases and contribute to service development plans.
