Location:Greater London & Surrounding Areas
We are looking for a skilledSteel Erector/Welderto join our growing team, working on structural steel projects across Greater London and beyond. This role offerscompetitive payandlong-term work opportunitiesfor the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring safe working practices during pre-assembly and erection of structural steelwork at various heights.
* Sling loads, signal, and work with cranes.
* Work at height usingMobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs)and other access equipment.
* Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Assist in planning project assembly based on technical drawings from architects/engineers.
* Cut, shape, and position steel components.
* Guide and align steelwork using tower cranes, ensuring proper levelling before bolting.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets industry standards.
Essential Qualifications/Skills:
* ValidCSCS card(required).
* FullUK driving licence.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Practical, hands-on approach with a"can-do" attitude.
* Comfortable workingat heightand on-site in various conditions.
