This role oversees a small, experienced accounts payable team, ensuring supplier payments, reconciliations and internal processes run smoothly. Acting as a key point of contact across finance and operational departments, you’ll support strong supplier relationships, maintain accurate financial records and help drive improvements to systems and procedures. What will the AP Manager role involve? Oversee day to day accounts payable activity, ensuring invoices, credits and approvals are processed quickly and accurately. Lead the preparation and review of supplier payment runs, including adhoc payments and short term cash flow planning. Maintain clean supplier accounts through regular statement reconciliations and prompt resolution of queries. Oversee staff expenses and company credit card processing, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Provide clear leadership to AP team members through regular check-ins, coaching and development. Assist the wider finance team with month end tasks and adhoc operational projects as required.
