About You
The school is looking for a graduate who is passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives. You will ideally have :
* A 2:1 degree or above in any subject (Psychology, Education, or related fields are advantageous)
* A genuine interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working with children or young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work) is beneficial but not essential
* The right to work in the UK

About the Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the primary age range who require additional help to access learning and build confidence in the classroom.
The school supports children with a range of needs, including:
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* ADHD
* Speech and Language difficulties
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering 1:1 support and small group interventions
* Supporting EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress
* Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagement
* Helping to create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
