This Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN role involves supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material. This is the ideal role for those looking to pursue a career in education, psychology, sociology, social work, mental health support work and more!
Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN - Job Description
* Working in an 'Outstanding' Primary School
* Based in Wandsworth
* Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
* September 2025 Start!
* Monday - Friday only
* Term-Time, Long-Term and Full-Time position
* 105 - 115 per day
* Working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Monitoring the progress of pupils and assisting children of various ages and abilities
The Ideal Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN
* A graduate with strong academics across the board - GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous school-based experience working with children with SEN
* A drive to inspire the younger generation
