Community Mental Health Care Support Worker
We are looking to recruit a Health Care Support Worker to join our Crisis and Home Treatment Resolution team. We are a well‑established community mental health team that works with people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties, supporting them through their journey of recovery.
Responsibilities
* Support senior mental health practitioners to deliver responsive and effective care during assessment and treatment to a designated caseload of individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
* Work in a compassionate and non‑judgemental manner with individuals in their own homes, in the community and in health settings.
* Accurately record contacts with individuals in clinical notes in a timely manner and assist the senior practitioner with necessary administrative tasks.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and develop skills in supporting therapeutic interventions under the supervision of experienced senior mental health practitioners.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Enthusiastic about supporting people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties in a compassionate and holistic manner.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Hours and Schedule
Full time or part time hours are available.
Location
Hywel Dda University Health Board – Haverfordwest, Wales, United Kingdom. The Board provides NHS services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and surrounding counties.
