Are you ready to lead two globally recognised brands in a dynamic campus setting?We're looking for a Senior Franchise Lead to manage our Subway and PTS Starbucks outlets at the University of Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced hospitality leader to take the reins of a busy, hands-on operation.
About the RoleAs the Senior Franchise Lead, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of both outlets. You’ll manage a team of 8 staff, driving high service standards, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering great experiences to students, staff, and visitors.This is a hands-on management role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations across Subway and PTS Starbucks on campus
- Lead, support, and develop a team of approximately 8 staff
- Manage rotas, stock levels, budgets, and health & safety compliance
- Ensure brand standards are maintained and exceeded
- Drive performance and continuous improvement
- Deliver excellent customer service across both sites
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of management experience in hospitality or a related sector
- Strong team leadership and staff development skills
- Experience in food and beverage operations
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach
- Brand experience (e.g., Subway, Starbucks, or other franchises) is desirable
