Overview
We are looking for an experienced Band 3 Administrator to join our large Pan Dorset MAS team. This job is 4 days per week from Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. The successful candidate will join a friendly, dynamic, professional multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced admin environment based at Alderney Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Schedule appointments as required for the services
* Maintain and use patients records
* Liaise with patients, carers, relatives, and GPs regarding appointments, care, the services and meetings
* Audio type and complete letters
* Transcribe minutes/notes of meetings; assist in audits and surveys as required
* Act as a first point of telephone contact for the service, remaining courteous and professional
* Take messages and ensure safe relay to the recipient
* Assist with senior administrator responsibilities, including inductions and training
