Key Responsibilities
* Provide fire safety guidance to staff at all levels on RRFSO 2005, HTM Fire Code, and Trust policy.
* Participate in governance and operational groups, contributing expertise and supporting the development of Fire Safety policy updates.
* Carry out regular inspections and audits of protective and preventative fire safety measures.
* Generate authoritative reports on compliance status and recommend improvements.
* Maintain up‑to‑date, secure records of risk assessments, audit findings, training logs, fire drills and incident reports.
* Ensure data is accessible for legislative compliance and auditing purposes.
* Conduct routine fire risk assessments and audits across Trust premises in line with HTM Fire Code.
* Identify hazards, assess risks, and produce authoritative reports with prioritised action plans to eliminate, mitigate or accept risks.
* Deliver Fire Safety Training to Staff and Contractors.

The four partner Trusts of the Black Country Provider Collaborative – Dudley Group NHS FT, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, Sandwell West Birmingham NHS Trust, and Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust – are working together to deliver a collective vision focused on providing "better, faster and safer care to the population of the Black Country and beyond". Although this post is hosted by SWB, there may be an expectation to work flexibly across the four partner Trusts to better meet patient and service needs.
