About Us:
Nestled in Kingstanding, Birmingham, Twickenham Primary School is a thriving academy for children aged 3 to 11. Twickenham is a stand-alone academy with a capacity of around 450 pupils; we are proud of our strong identity and commitment to excellence in everything we do.
We are committed to fostering a nurturing, engaging and challenging environment for all our pupils. Our dedicated staff and supportive governors work together to engage with families and provide an enriching educational experience for every child.
With the upcoming retirement of our long serving headteacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint an exceptional, dynamic, and visionary Head Teacher who will lead our school with passion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, a clear understanding of the challenges facing schools in today's educational landscape, both locally and nationally, and the ability to inspire and empower others. We have maintained our 'Good' rating by Ofsted, and we are seeking someone who can demonstrate our continued success and will seek to address the school's development priorities at the next inspection.
The successful candidate will also:
* Drive forward academic and personal development so every pupil can "be all they can be."
* Innovate further in curriculum design and delivery, shaping the broad, life affirming learning experiences we offer.
* Develop staff capacity, celebrate their successes, and foster professional growth.
* Strengthen community engagement: with parents, local organisations, and through extra-curricular opportunities.
* Ensure that Twickenham continues to be a place where values such as integrity, kindness, respect, and responsibility are lived daily.
