This new service is just needing a Manager whom can provide the above care for up to 3 children 8-17 yrs Their mission is to provide ongoing support safety stability and understanding Role Overview if you are a passionate and resilient Registered Manager whom is ready to launch a new service a childrens home whom value individualised care and you wish to shape a small therapeutic home IN return you will be given :- The opportunity to shape a small, therapeutic children's home, You will have the time and space to focus on quality person centred care rather than volume. If you are currently a deputy ready to take the leap or an experienced manager and you feel your ready to make a move This role will give you the autonomy to grow an organisation whom celebrates on wins and reflects on losses an organisation that cares and believes everyone matters - Full support from the Responsible Individual - Comprehensive induction and ongoing therapeutic training (PACE model, trauma informed practice, safeguarding) - The opportunity to develop professionally while making a lasting difference to children's lives. Key Criteria - Lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015. - Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring their voices are central to all decision making. - Create a homely, nurturing, activity filled environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered and understood. - Provide strong leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff, building a motivated and skilled team. - Implement therapeutic approaches including PACE and trauma-informed care, embedding them into daily practice. - Oversee staff recruitment, induction, and ongoing development, ensuring a culture of learning and high standards. - Manage budgets and resources effectively, balancing financial responsibility with excellent care. - Build positive partnerships with social workers, schools, health professionals, and families. - Drive continuous improvement, preparing for inspections and achieving outstanding outcomes for children. Requirements - Experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior leadership role within children's residential care. - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards). - Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted inspections, and regulatory frameworks. - Experience in trauma informed and person centred care approaches. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. - Resilience, creativity, and the ability to inspire and support both children and staff.
