Expert circle lead / expert programme coordinator

Brighton
London School of Childcare Studies
Coordinator
Posted: 16 May
Offer description

London School of Childcare Studies is a specialist training provider offering professional courses in childcare, maternity, infant care, sleep, parenting and early years practice.

We are currently developing our LSCS Expert Circle — a growing network of subject matter experts, practitioners, speakers and contributors who support our courses, expert seminars, learner community and quality assurance work.

We are looking for an organised, thoughtful and proactive person to help coordinate this project and turn it into a strong, visible and well-managed expert programme.

About the role

The Expert Circle Lead will coordinate our expert seminar and authority-building programme. This includes working with subject matter experts, guest speakers, contributors and internal team members to plan expert seminars, collect speaker information, support content creation, and ensure everything is organised, professional and aligned with LSCS quality standards.

This is not just an admin role. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of credibility, evidence-informed practice, professional communication and learner engagement.

You will work closely with the Founder, Quality Assurer, marketing team and external experts.

Hours: Flexible, approximately 8 hours per week to begin with.

Key responsibilities
* Coordinate the LSCS Expert Circle, including expert speakers, contributors and subject matter experts
* Manage communication with experts, including invitations, follow-ups, bios, photos, topics and availability
* Help organise expert seminars, webinars, interviews and learner-facing events
* Prepare speaker briefs, seminar summaries and learning outcomes
* Maintain an expert tracker, seminar calendar and content planning system
* Liaise with the Quality Assurer to ensure expert contributions are appropriately documented
* Support the creation of blog posts, social media content, newsletters and “meet the expert” features
* Help turn expert seminars into wider authority-building content, such as quotes, clips, articles and learner updates
* Ensure experts feel welcomed, valued and clear about expectations
* Keep records of expert involvement for internal quality assurance and accreditation purposes
* Work with the team to ensure expert content is professional, evidence-informed and aligned with LSCS values
About you

We are looking for someone who is:

* Highly organised and confident managing several moving parts
* Warm, professional and excellent at written communication
* Comfortable communicating with experienced professionals and experts
* Interested in childcare, early years, parenting, sleep, maternity, education or family support
* Able to understand the difference between a subject matter expert, guest speaker, practitioner contributor and seminar host
* Quality-aware and respectful of evidence-informed practice
* Confident using spreadsheets, shared folders, email, Teams/Zoom and basic content planning tools
* Able to work independently and keep projects moving forward
* Good at spotting opportunities to turn expert knowledge into useful content for learners and marketing
Essential experience
* Experience in coordination, project support, events, education, training, CPD, marketing, content coordination or similar
* Strong written English and professional communication skills
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Understanding of, or strong interest in, early years, childcare, parenting, health, education or family support
* Confidence working remotely and managing deadlines
Desirable experience
* A qualification or background in early years, childcare, education, health, social care, psychology, parenting support or child development
* Experience working with experts, trainers, speakers, tutors or consultants
* Experience organising webinars, seminars, online events or CPD sessions
* Experience writing or coordinating blogs, newsletters or social media content
* Understanding of quality assurance, accreditation or evidence-informed education
* Experience with Canva, email marketing platforms, social media scheduling or learning platforms
What we offer
* Flexible remote working
* Opportunity to help shape a new expert-led programme
* Work with respected professionals across childcare, sleep, maternity, parenting, SEND and early years
* A creative and meaningful role within a growing training organisation
* Scope for the role to develop as the Expert Circle grows
