The Role:
Our Assistant Stylists are critical to the success of our Pets Grooming salons. You'll deliver the highest standard of pet care, demonstrating a basic understanding of grooming techniques, including handling, equipment use, and pre-grooming preparation.
We will provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver excellent service. We offer a competitive pay structure and support your growth with training and development opportunities, including our Earn as You Learn programmes and skill-based pay enhancements.
We’re seeking individuals who are:
* Passionate about delivering great service.
* Flexible, with the ability to work a shift pattern across 6 days a week (closed on Sundays). The minimum contract is 39 hours, but additional hours may be required during busy periods, absences, and holidays.
* Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment is desirable but not essential (please note that bathing and prepping your own dog does not qualify as professional experience). Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
* Preferably experienced in target-driven environments, but not mandatory.
