Salary: Up to £51,000
The Role
The team specialises in defending Employers’ Liability and Public Liability (EL/PL) claims on behalf of the NHS and some Private Healthcare providers, handling a broad caseload of litigated matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Initial report/review and setting strategy for the management of the claim.
* Reviewing evidence and dealing with disclosure
* Preparing trial bundles, court documents and instructing counsel
* Managing workload allocation, deadlines, and file quality across the team
* Handling a caseload of EL/PL matters, including higher-value claims where required
* Acting as a client contact and supporting business development and client relationship initiatives
About You
* Solicitor with strong EL/PL or personal injury experience
* Strong technical ability in litigated casualty / personal injury claims
* Highly organised with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Comfortable working to client SLAs, protocols and KPIs
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
