Job Summary
Seeking a Network Engineer with at least 5 years of experience, CCNA certification, and knowledge of network protocols, wireless protocols, SD-WAN, and SASE. The role is remote with occasional travel and requires a full UK driving license.
Working hours are 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (GMT/BST), Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota (1 week every 5 weeks).
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot network issues across various layers and platforms.
* Support cloud WAF and implement Meraki, Ubiquiti, and SASE solutions.
* Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches.
* Collaborate with IT teams and document configurations.
* Travel for on-site support as needed.
* Stay updated with industry trends.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years in network engineering.
* Experience with Layer 2-4 protocols and wireless standards.
* CCNA or higher certification within last 5 years.
* Knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, Cisco Meraki, and troubleshooting network devices.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Full UK driving license.
Preferred:
* Additional certifications (CCNP, JNCIA).
* Experience with cloud networking, automation, security, Ubiquiti solutions, and network monitoring tools.
