The successful Youth Mentor will work closely with young people on a 1:1 and small group basis, building trusting relationships, encouraging engagement in learning, and supporting the development of positive behaviour and effective coping strategies. Working in partnership with teaching staff and external professionals, the Youth Mentor will contribute to the implementation of behaviour support plans, help to de-escalate challenging situations, and promote a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
