Carpenters Required
Location: Wadebridge, Cornwall
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenters for a site in Wadebridge. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and various building techniques.
Responsibilities
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
* Perform joinery tasks to ensure precision in the assembly of components.
* Measure, cut, and shape materials as per specifications while ensuring they are plumb and level.
* Work on roofing projects, including the installation of rafters and trusses.
* Engage in masonry work as required for structural integrity.
* Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces with high-quality results.
* Conduct basic electrical work related to carpentry projects when necessary.
* Assemble and fabricate custom pieces according to client specifications or project requirements.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry.
* Knowledge of joinery techniques and ability to perform precise measurements.
* Familiarity with roofing methods and materials.
* Basic understanding of masonry principles is advantageous.
* Experience in painting and finishing techniques is preferred.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
