A global advanced engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Team Manager to lead a sustaining engineering function supporting complex electro-mechanical products across the full product lifecycle.
This role will lead a team of engineers responsible for root cause investigation, design changes, reliability improvements, technical governance, and ongoing product support within a highly regulated engineering environment.
You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, service, and project teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions are delivered to specification, cost, and schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Driving technical problem solving and root cause analysis
Managing sustaining engineering changes and governance
Supporting product reliability and continuous improvement
Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve production and supplier issues
Ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards
We are interested in candidates with:
Strong background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
Experience within complex manufacturing or regulated industries
Leadership or team management experience
Knowledge of sustaining engineering, product lifecycle support, or design change management
Experience with structured problem-solving tools such as FMEA, 8D, CAPA or RCA
