The Role
We’re looking for a Founding Head of Design to define the visual and experiential soul of the company.
You’ll shape how our technology looks, feels, and communicates - across product, brand, and narrative.
You’ll be joining a team that’s design-first by philosophy, where form and function are inseparable, and where your work will define the emotional and intellectual core of a new category.
What You’ll Do
* Own the product experience: Define and evolve the UX/UI of our AI platform, turning highly technical concepts into intuitive, elegant interactions.
* Craft the brand language: Build a visual identity that captures the beauty and ambition of our mission across website, product, and storytelling.
* Build and lead the design team: Recruit and mentor a small, world-class team as we scale.
* Shape the design philosophy: Balance innovation and simplicity to make deep, technical systems feel effortless.
* Collaborate deeply: Partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure design drives every aspect of what we create.
* Bring humanity to AI: Translate complexity into clarity — always designing with empathy, warmth, and emotion.
What We’re Looking For
* 6+ years designing and shipping complex digital products, ideally in data, AI, or enterprise software.
* Experience as Head of Design, Director of Product Design, or Principal Designer at a leading tech company or high-growth startup.
* A portfolio that radiates taste, originality, and product intelligence — work that feels inevitable once you see it.
* Hands-on mastery of Figma and prototyping tools, with the ability to bridge product design, systems thinking, and brand expression.
* Comfort collaborating with engineers and product leaders — capable of translating complex, abstract ideas into tangible, emotional interfaces.
* Deep belief in craft, simplicity, and creative autonomy.
* Based in Europe or New York, fluent in English, and ready to work closely with founders and technical leadership.
