This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACA / ACCA accountant or an ambitious Accounts Assistant / Audit Assistant looking to progress within a reputable accountancy practice, with full exposure to audit, accounts preparation, and client work.
The Role
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will support the delivery of audit and accounting services to a diverse client base while continuing to build your technical skills and professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with audit assignments, including fieldwork and testing
* Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements
* Support the preparation of corporation tax returns and computations
* Work closely with senior team members on client engagements
* Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
* Ensure work is completed in line with UK accounting standards and deadlines
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems
About You
To be successful in this Semi-Senior Accountant job in Harrow, you will have:
* Part-qualified ACA / ACCA (or actively studying)
* Experience within an accountancy practice environment
* Exposure to audit and/or accounts preparation
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Good communication and organisational skills
