The Role
As a Graduate Cyber Security Consultant you will apply cyber security skills and knowledge to risk modelling, audit and compliance, risk and vulnerability analysis and security culture improvement with the guidance and direction from more senior consultants.
Day-to-day, you will support the team in the creating of business risk models and associated material in support of operation cyber security.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting cyber security audit processes in support of operational and business planning activity across a range of different domains or sectors
2. Supporting cyber security vulnerability analysis that provide a rich picture of organisational and business planning activity across a range of different domains or sectors
3. Understanding mitigations for cyber risk in each business or operation scenario and threat environment
4. Supporting the development of cyber security risk cases in each business or operational context
5. Contributing towards the development of cyber security risk cases in each business or operational context
Essential experience of the Graduate Cyber Security Consultant:
6. The ability to understand cyber risk impact on business outcomes and communicating effectively
7. Previous experience articulating evidenced convincing arguments for recommended courses of action
8. The ability to understand how architects and designers employ technology to build systems of interest
9. Digitally literate (including fluency in Microsoft Office tools)
10. Able to understand relevant NIST frameworks and ISO27001 standards and how to apply in practice
Essential qualifications for the Graduate Cyber Security Consultant:
11. STEM degree or equivalent
12. The ability to demonstrate an inquisitive and questioning approach with a willingness to challenge and solve problems
13. Digitally literate (including fluency in Microsoft Office tools)
14. Awareness of relevant NIST frameworks and ISO27001 standards
15. A good awareness of digital technology (computer and computer networks)
16. Awareness of other cyber security professions and what they contribute

This role is 37 hours per week based at multiple UK sites. Hybrid working patterns available. Travel to customer sites will be expected.
