Job Overview
Our client, a growing distribution company, are actively looking for a proactive, hands‑on Warehouse Manager.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including stock management, order fulfilment, goods in and out, and process improvement.
* Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
* Coordinate with other teams and external partners for smooth logistics and stock flow.
* Monitor performance using relevant systems and tools.
* Lead, motivate, and manage a small team to ensure productivity, safety, and collaboration.
Job Requirements
* Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution operations.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse processes.
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, or similar tools.
* Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or continuous improvement.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and team leadership skills.
* Technical skills including forklift operation certification and accurate stock handling.
Salary & Benefits
* £35,000 - £40,000 (negotiable for an exceptional candidate)
* Profit-share bonus
* Full‑time, onsite position (Monday‑Friday, 8‑5)
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
* Earn an extra day of holiday each year of service (up to 5 additional days)
