The role involves supporting the delivery of accurate and timely payroll and pension services for employees and external clients, ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll and pensions for staff and external customers. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all payments and deductions are correct. Provide advice on payroll legislation, pension regulations, and HR policies. Support month-end and year-end reporting for LGPS and Teachers’ Pensions. Reconcile payroll data and assist with continuous system improvements (iTrent ESS/MSS). What the Client is Looking For: CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or equivalent. Experience working in payroll and pension administration. Knowledge of LGPS, Teachers’ Pensions, and payroll legislation. Strong Excel skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. What the Client Offers: £15.56 per hour (PAYE). 4-month contract with potential extension. Hybrid working (60% office / 40% home).
