The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring precast concrete manufacturing across multiple production facilities. This role ensures that all work is carried out in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), project specifications, and relevant standards.
The inspector will report findings to internal teams and customers, providing clear feedback and practical solutions where required.
Travel Requirement
This is a site-based role requiring regular travel between precast concrete production facilities, including travel across England and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
* Travel to production sites to inspect and monitor manufacturing activities
* Ensure all stages of production comply with ITPs, drawings, and specifications
* Inspect materials, reinforcement, formwork, casting, curing, finishing, and storage
* Verify inspections, testing, and records meet quality requirements
* Identify and document non-conformances and quality issues
* Report findings clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
* Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions
* Support continuous improvement by identifying trends and recommending solutions
* Complete inspection reports accurately and on time
* Comply with site safety rules and company policies
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience as a Quality Inspector within precast concrete, construction, or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of precast concrete processes and quality standards
* Experience working with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
* Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. British Standards) is desirable
* Full, valid driving licence
* Valid CSCS card
* High attention to detail
* Strong observational and problem-solving skills
* Practical, solution-focused approach

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Confident communicating with site teams and clients
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
